Charon was the ferryman of Hell responsible for carrying souls to and out of Hell.

Biography

Charon was confronted by Eugene Root, who told him he doesn't belong in Hell. Charon proceeded to summon a ship and noted Eugene's disfigurement. Mannering then confronted him, demanding to turn Eugene over. Charon refused and asserted it was in his jurisdiction. Charon was then told God was missing before being shot by a bolt.^[1]
